I began riding in the beginning of 1980s. As my talent for riding developed I chose to ride dressage and focus on goal orientated training and competing.

 I’ve worked as a professional rider mostly in Germany, to where I moved in the mid 1990s to ride dressage and work for the highly renowned Jonny Hilberath. This was a wonderful time, when I was able to learn a lot while also having the opportunity to ride fantastic horses every day.

 After my time at Hilberath, I had plans to return home to Finland but as I got so many amazing job offers in Germany, I decided to stay. This lead me to work for several years for employers such as the

stud farms of Zuchthof H. Osterloh and Zuchthof Bauer. At both places I got to ride and train the horses more independently and from a very young age.

I have since then competed on Intermediate I level in dressage and trained horses up to Grand Prix, and in addition to that, I’ve had the pleasure to ride and present young horses at various shows and event.
